ECO Scheme

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government scheme in order to tackle fuel poverty and reach the government goal of net zero by 2050.

This scheme is funded by energy suppliers, the funding allows energy efficiency measures to be implemented in homes across the company. The measures vary from insulation to boilers.

The ECO department within Diversity Energy Solutions can provide support from assessing properties and recommending which energy saving measures should be installed, to undertaking the installation work and making the submission for funds to the funders.

ECO Grants

Internal Wall Insulation

Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) involves adding an insulated layer to external walls to increase the thermal resistance and prevent heat escaping through the walls.

Underfloor Insulation

Installing insulation materials beneath the floorboards of a property or on a concrete floor can aid retention and save energy and associated costs.

Loft Insulation

Installing insulation in the rafters or joists in roofs can prevent heat escaping from the roof by trapping heat to prevent loss.

Room In Roof Insulation

Insulation can be installed in a room in the roof space or underneath the roof space, for example an attic or loft conversion, to help retain heat and also to increase water resistance.

Solar Surveys

Site surveys are necessary to determine the appropriateness, correct design and profitability of a solar energy system for the owner.
