What is an Electrical Inspection?

An electrical safety check includes checks of all wiring, plug sockets and fuse boxes in the property.

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a vital part of electrical safety and must be carried out at least every 5 years.

Who is responsible for safety checks?

Landlords and property agents are required by law to make sure that rented properties meet the repairing standards at the start and throughout the tenancy agreement.

How can we help?

Our in house qualified electricians can carryout EICRs, which will check the supply of electricity, electrical fittings and fixed equipment.

An Electrical Safety Certificate will be issued if all electrical installations are working properly and are safe for use.

If any upgrades are required, the landlord will be notified and it is their duty to ensure that damages or upgrades are rectified, to ensure the safety of their tenants.
