Diversity Staff Team Spreads Christmas Spirit

At Diversity Energy, we are well placed to recognise the immense pressures on families as they strive to meet increasing living costs whilst energy prices continue to rise.

The festive period can be an especially hard time for many in the community, with the added pressure of additional spend especially felt by those with young children.With 1 in 4 (24%) children in Scotland living in poverty, we felt it was important to ensure as many children as possible woke up to a present under the tree on Christmas morning.

The Diversity staff team collected a number of toys and gifts to be donated to a local charity, which passed them on to local families in our area to ensure a little bit of Christmas magic.

Staff members also collected food items towards a food parcel which was donated to a local food bank to support more families in need over the festive period.

Aleksandra Struzik, Personal Assistant to CEO, at Diversity, said, "It was humbling and heart warming to be able to actively contribute towards easing the pressure on local families at this special time of year. Christmas is a time for being with family and enjoying the celebrations, and we hope our efforts helped to spread a bit of Christmas cheer to some local families most in need this festive season."
