Finance Assistant
The ideal candidate will have previous finance experience and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily financial matters within the company.
Job Role
We are seeking a skilled Financial Assistant to join our team. As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analysing financial data, and preparing financial reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct monthly and annual closing processes
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide insights
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero
- Assistance with any other tasks as required
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience: accounting: 3 years (preferred)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous, but not essential
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
